🏀 Korfbal at EuroGames Lyon 2025: Team Spirit and Inclusion
The Korfbal competitions at EuroGames Lyon 2025 will take place on July 24 and 25, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Organized in partnership with the Fédération Korfbal France, this event promotes teamwork and inclusivity through a mixed-gender competition.
🏀 Competition Format
The tournament will follow the Korf4 format with 2 baskets. Depending on the number of registered teams, a phase in Korf4 with a single basket may be included.
Category: Single mixed category (4×4 teams, composed of 2 to 4 men and 2 to 4 women).
Team Composition:
– Each team must have 4 to 8 players.
– Teams must be mixed, including 2 to 4 men and 2 to 4 women.
Competition Structure:
– Group stage, followed by final rounds.
– The final format will be adjusted based on the number of registered teams.

Registration is done by team (4 to 8 players). The team captain will create the team during their individual registration and then invite teammates to join.
⚠️ If there are not enough registered teams, we reserve the right to include a phase in Korf4 with a single basket. Each athlete will have the choice to accept or decline these adjustments.
