Opening & Closing Ceremonies
The opening and closing ceremonies will take place in the Gerland Park next to the sports village where most of the activities will be held. For both events, we want them to be the highlights of these EuroGames, celebrating diversities in all ways. Our commitment will be to ensure that the greatest care is attached to embracing differences thanks to all the stakeholders’ speeches or athletes’ video testimonials. But athletes will also be celebrated with an outstanding march as they are the ones who will make this event unforgettable. For attendees, we also plan to accommodate catering with food trucks all around the area.
At each of these events, we plan to create digital content that will allow us to share our messages throughout the communication channels, make our them heard and the memories remain.
CLOSING PARTY
In the spirit of Tigaly Amazing Night, the closing party held in “Tony Garnier” concerts hall will be open to all for sharing this memorable event as intensely as possible with music, Djs, lights and loads of fun.

During the Day
We want to make the EuroGames, the week of inclusivity in Lyon. Events will be organized in all the key places of the city. At the Roman Amphitheatre, in collaboration with the Fourvière Music Festival*, on Place Bellecour with demonstrations of Parasports but also in the very futuristic Confluence district for sports happenings with rainbow colors.
By Night
Thanks to many existing partnerships with the city’s festive places, we plan to organize a thematic evening, every night, each night in a different location. The summer period will allow us to obtain very interesting booking conditions allowing us to plan ambitious nighttime event. We wish to combine party culture and cultural events, fun and legacy. Each evening, a talk will be organized on themes around diversity and inclusion. This will be followed by an evening of entertainment and music.
The Athletes' Village, a place to meet and share
The athletes’ village will be located in the Gerland Park.
Setting the village in this location will have many benefits for both athletes and supporters. Access is quite easy & fast thanks to public transports that serve the area rapidly from everywhere in Lyon. The park, next to the Rhone river will also offer a perfect space for hosting many cultural events, activities and even for chilling with friends between competitions.
