🤺 Fencing at EuroGames Lyon 2025: A Unique Team Competition

The Fencing competitions at EuroGames Lyon 2025 will take place over one day at the Gymnase Crillon, featuring an innovative format organized by the Le Masque de Fer de Lyon association. This edition introduces a new approach to competition with a single mixed-gender category in teams of two.

Teams of two fencers will be randomly drawn at the beginning of the competition, ensuring a dynamic and balanced tournament.

🤺 Competition Format

Weapon used: Épée

Category: Single mixed category (teams of two drawn at random from all registered participants, with possible combinations such as M/F, M/M, F/F, NB/M, NB/F, NB/NB).

Required skill level: Participants must have an advanced level in fencing.

Equipment: Each participant must bring their own gear. No equipment will be provided on-site.
