At the EuroGames Lyon 2025, we are committed to promoting broad inclusion in sports. Beyond the inclusion of LGBTQI+ people, we have also implemented initiatives to support individuals with limited financial resources through our Outreach program. We have alsoworked to make our competitions and events accessible to people with disabilities.
On this page, you’ll find all the information related to the accessibility of sports disciplines and events. For any questions or clarifications, feel free to contact us at: inclusion@lyon2025.com.
We also invite you to consult the government website listing accessible venues.
Important
Despite all our efforts, we cannot guarantee full accessibility for every activity, in every location, at all times. Our priority is to be as transparent as possible, so that everyone can plan ahead with the right information.
A work in progress We are aware that everything is not perfect and that we are not yet addressing all situations and needs related to inclusion. But we are genuinely committed to moving in that direction. Your feedback, suggestions and requests are welcome to help us improve the way we welcome everyone.
Accomodation
The accommodations offered on our platform are accessible to individuals with reduced mobility. However, not all rooms necessarily have the specific amenities. We recommend contacting our partner at the following address: stayinlyon@lyon2025.com. They can offer you a tailored solution at preferential rates, adapted to your specific needs.
Transport
The Lyon TCL network offers several options for individuals with reduced mobility:
Tramways: Fully accessible to wheelchair users.
Buses: All vehicles are equipped with low floors and designated spaces for wheelchairs. However, approximately 70% of stops are designed to facilitate access for individuals with reduced mobility.
Metro:
Lines B and D are accessible to all types of wheelchairs.
Lines A and C are primarily accessible to manual wheelchairs; some stations may present challenges for electric wheelchairs.
For detailed and up-to-date information on network accessibility, please consult the dedicated TCL page: https://www.tcl.fr/en/journey-info/accessibility
We recommend planning your trips in advance and checking the accessibility of the stations and stops you intend to use to ensure an optimal travel experience.
