🛼 Roller Derby at EuroGames Lyon 2025: Competition and Celebration!
The Roller Derby competitions at EuroGames Lyon 2025 will take place at the Gymnase des Pompiers de la Duchère on July 26, 2025. Organized by the Lyon United Roller Derby (LURD), part of the Lyon Roller Métropole association, this event is exclusively for FLINTA individuals (women, lesbians, intersex, non-binary, trans, agender, and more).
🛼 Tournament Format
The tournament will follow a Round Robin format with 4 teams of 12 participants each. Every team will face the other three during the tournament.
- Match duration: 30 minutes with no halftime.
- Team ranking: Points awarded based on results:
– Victory: 3 points
– Forfeit: -1 point
– Loss: 0 points
If teams are tied, rankings will be determined by:
- Points earned in head-to-head matches
- Point differential in head-to-head matches
- Overall point differential
- Number of expulsions (lowest is better)
- Number of foul outs
- Number of penalties (lowest is better)
- Random draw
Required skill level: N2-level teams with a minimum experience of 5 matches in competition. Approximate ranking: 800/1300 on Flat Track (Flat Track Stats).
Participants can join red, yellow, green or purple teams. You can register as a team or individually (UB format) to be assigned to a team.
