Friday, July 25, to celebrate their first anniversary, the collective WAW! (What a Whack!) has been given carte blanche by EuroGames Lyon 2025 to take over HEAT for a night dedicated to FLINTA identities.
From 5:30 PM to midnight, music, rhythm, and collective energy will be at the heart of this inclusive and vibrant celebration.
At the decks and on the mic: DJ Reine Claude, DJ Lavanda, and MC Gorgeous will lead the crowd through the beats of waacking, a dance born in the 1970s within queer racialized underground clubs in Los Angeles, now a powerful symbol of liberation and expression.
