How is the Participation Fee for the Lyon 2025 EuroGames Composed?
It is important to note that the revenue generated from athlete participation contributes to ⅓ of the overall budget for the EuroGames. The remaining ⅔ is funded by public institutions (City of Lyon, Ministry of Sports, Ministry in charge of Fighting Discrimination, FIER Foundation, Lyon Metropolis), donations, and private sponsorship.
The EuroGames participation fee consists of two combined components: the Base Fee + the Sport Fee
- Base Fee: This fee corresponds to participation in the EuroGames. It helps cover part of the EuroGames organization costs, including the opening and closing ceremonies, the athlete village, security, promotion, and marketing expenses.
This fee is applied only once per person.
Sport Fee: This fee covers the costs related to participating in a sports competition. Sport fees are cumulative if multiple sports are selected.

Discounts and Promotions
EGLSF Member Discount: This 20% discount on the base fee is applied to all athletes who are licensed with European sports associations that are members of the EGLSF. The list of associations can be found HERE. The discount is available throughout the registration period. This discount is available during registration by selecting the EGLSF member club.

Lyon Sports Organizations Member Discount: This 20% discount on the base fee is applied to members and licensed individuals from clubs and sports associations that contributed directly to the organization of the Lyon EuroGames. This discount is available throughout the registration period. It can be obtained using a promotional code. Please contact your club manager to receive the code.

FLINT Discount
To support the efforts aimed at promoting greater gender diversity and the participation of Cis and Trans women, Trans men, and non-binary individuals, a discount is applied to the base fee. Discount for people with disabilities
To support the efforts to encourage participation and inclusion of people with disabilities, a discount is applied to the base fee. This discount is automatically applied during registration for individuals declaring their disability.

Under 30 and Over 70 Discount
To encourage greater diversity and participation of younger athletes/students and senior individuals with lower-than-average incomes, a discount is applied to the base fee. This discount is automatically applied during registration based on age at the time of the Lyon 2025 EuroGames.

The FLINT, People with Disabilities, and Under 30/Over 70 discounts are not cumulative.
EarlyBird Discount: This 10% discount on the base fee is applied to all registrations, limited to available spots (800) or until January 31, 2025, whichever comes first. This discount can be combined with the EGLSF, Lyon Sports Organizations, FLINTA, and people with disabilities, under 30, and over 70 discounts. Check the Lyon 2025 EuroGames social media for the promotional code. The Early Bird discount cannot be applied retroactively or refunded in case of a missing promo code at the time of payment.
OutReach
The Lyon 2025 EuroGames encourages the participation of athletes with limited financial resources compared to Western living standards. It is possible to receive a reduced or even free registration. Feel free to apply via the website by enrolling in the OutReach program.
