What is Pride House Paris 2024?

Pride House is a unique venue designed to celebrate and support the LGBTI+ community in sport. Since the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Games, Pride Houses, under the umbrella of Pride House International, have become established at major international sporting events. This year, the 24th Pride House, organized by the Fier Foundation, official sponsor of the EuroGames Lyon 2025, will be held in Paris.

An Inclusive and Safe Space

Pride House Paris 2024 aims to provide an inclusive environment for LGBTI+ supporters, athletes and their allies. The initiative promotes the values of inclusion, respect for diversity and fairness. It raises public awareness of the issues facing the LGBTI+ community in sport, while calling for the universal decriminalization of homosexuality. It’s a space where testimonials and role models are put forward to destigmatize LGBTI+ people in sport.

EuroGames Lyon 2025 at the Pride House

The EuroGames Lyon 2025, a flagship event for the LGBTI+ community, fits in perfectly with Pride House Paris 2024 and its Legacy program. Since January 2024, the EuroGames team has been actively involved in the LAB’s educational sessions, addressing key themes such as:

• Trans and Non-binary People in Sport
• Women, Lesbians and Sport
• Sport and Homosexuality: Towards a More Inclusive Sport

These sessions aim to propose operational solutions to promote the inclusion of LGBTI+ people in sport. A final report with measures and recommendations will be published in September 2024 and implemented during the EuroGames in Lyon.
