Arriving by Train
With two central stations, Part-Dieu and Perrache, the high-speed train (TGV) service has placed Lyon at the heart of Europe. Lyon Part-Dieu station is one of the largest in Europe, conveniently located in the city centre. Lyon is only two hours from Paris with trains departing every 30 minutes.

Arriving by Bus
Several companies offer bus services to Lyon, whether you’re travelling from within France or from other European countries. In particular, Blablacar Bus and FlixBus provide links to Lyon from numerous French and European cities.
The main bus stations in Lyon city centre are Lyon Perrache and Lyon Part-Dieu.

Flight Options
We encourage travel by train or bus. However, if this is not feasible, Lyon does have an airport with connections to most European cities. Lyon Saint Exupéry airport is about 30 minutes from Lyon city centre, accessible via the Rhônexpress (~€30 return).
