The safety and health of all participants is a top priority for the EuroGames Lyon 2025 organizers. Here are the measures in place to ensure a safe, responsive, and peaceful event across all venues.

⛑️ Emergency services (DPS) on-site
Not all venues will have a fixed First Aid Station (DPS).
Depending on the size and nature of the venue:
- Some will have a fixed First Aid Station on site
- Others will be covered by mobile first aid teams
- All venues will be equipped with a basic first aid kit and volunteers trained in first aid
📍 Venues equipped with a DPS will be indicated in the program and on-site signage. All venues will have volunteers trained in first aid, ready to respond if needed.
🚨 What to do in case of an incident?
- Immediately inform a volunteer or the venue manager.
- The organizing team will initiate the appropriate response: mobile intervention or a call to emergency medical services (SAMU – 15) if needed.

🌞 Heatwave plan & prevention
In case of extreme heat:
- Water stations are available at every venue
- Shaded areas are provided for rest
- The schedule may be adjusted if a heatwave alert is issued
🧘 Wellness and recovery
Some venues will offer a wellness area with:
- Physiotherapist / osteopath (open access or by reservation)
- Quiet zone with deckchairs and hydration access

👮 General event security
The safety of all participants is ensured by a coordinated system led by the EuroGames management team, in collaboration with local authorities.
Measures in place:
- Security staff presence at key venues
- Access control through wristbands and badges
- Crowd monitoring and incident management
- Evacuation plans available and displayed at all venues
- Rapid communication in case of alerts or instructions
