🏊‍♂️ Artistic Swimming at EuroGames Lyon 2025!

Dive into the world of Artistic Swimming at the EuroGames Lyon 2025! The competition will take place on Thursday, July 24, from 08:00 am to 4:15 pm at the Centre Nautique Étienne Gagnaire, in partnership with Aqua Synchro Lyon.

With its 50-meter indoor pool and outdoor warm-up pool, the venue will host nearly 220 artistic swimmers. Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or joining for the joy of it, come be part of a unique sports event built on inclusivity and friendliness! 🎉

• 08:00 am – Doors open and welcome
• 08:30 to 09:00 – Gala team warm-up
• 09:00 to 09:45 – Solo warm-up
• 09:45 – Judges’ meeting
• 10:00 – Gala ballet and solo competition
• 11:30 to 12:00 – Team warm-up
• 12:00 – Judges’ meeting
• 12:15 – Team competition
• 12:30 to 13:15 – Lunch break
• 13:15 to 13:45 – Duet warm-up
• 13:45 to 14:00 – Judges’ meeting
• 14:00 – Duet competition
• 14:45 to 15:15 – Combo warm-up
• 15:15 – Judges’ meeting
• 15:30 – Combo competition
• 16:00 – End of competition
• 16:15 – Parade of participants and medal ceremony

The competition includes solo, duet, team, and combo events, with defined age and gender categories:

Solo (separate rankings for W/M/Non-binary):

• 18–29 years old
• 30–49 years old
• 50 years and over

Duet (rankings by age only, fully mixed):

• 18–29 years old (1 substitute allowed)
• 30–49 years old (1 substitute allowed)
• 50 years and over (1 substitute allowed)

Team (4 to 8 swimmers, max. 2 substitutes):

• 18–39 years old
• 40 years and over

Combo (4 to 10 swimmers, max. 2 substitutes):

• 18–39 years old
• 40 years and over

🎵 Rules and Music

⚠️ Pool depth: 1.80 m (non-standard).
📩 Music submission: before July 1, 2025, to artisticswimming@lyon2025.com.
MP3 or WAV files only. A backup on USB key is highly recommended.

🕒 Maximum choreography time (no minimum duration):

• Free Solo: 2 minutes 15 seconds max
• Free Duet: 2 minutes 45 seconds max
• Free Team: 3 minutes 30 seconds max
• Free Combo: 3 minutes 30 seconds max

🎭 General requirements:

• Swimsuits must comply with LEN and FINA regulations
• Caps and goggles allowed
• Proper attire required for the podium
• No props allowed during routines
