🏊‍♂️ Swimming at EuroGames Lyon 2025! (Last Update, July, 16th)

Dive in! 🌊 Join us for two days of intense competition on Friday, July 25, and Saturday, July 26, from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Étienne Gagnaire swimming pool in Villeurbanne.

With its indoor 50-meter pool and an outdoor warm-up pool, this venue will host around 400 swimmers over the two days. Whether you’re an experienced swimmer or participating for fun, we look forward to welcoming you to Lyon for a unique sporting event, where friendliness and fun are guaranteed! 🎉

Day 1 – Friday, July 25
  • 08h00: Warm-up
  • 09h00: Start of competition: 800 Freestyle, 100 Butterfly, 400 Freestyle, 4×200 Freestyle Relay
  • 13:20: Warm-up
  • 13:30: Resumption of competition: 50 Backstroke, 50 Butterfly, 100 Freestyle,100 Breaststroke, 200 Backstroke, 200 Freestyle, 4×50 Freestyle Relay, 4×100 Medley Relay

Day 2 – Saturday, July 26

  • 08:00: Warm-up
  • 09:00: Start of competition: 200 Butterfly, 1500 Freestyle, 400 Medley, 4×100 Freestyle Relay

Rankings will be based on age categories and gender. Trans participants can choose which competition they wish to compete in. There will also be specific rankings for non-binary participants and people with disabilities.

A few adapted parking spaces are available, but not directly nearby the entrance.

🚶‍♀️ Building Access:

  • The main entrance is at ground level and well-signposted, but there is no dedicated entrance for people with disabilities.
  • The path to reception is at ground level, but includes some steps and a significant slope depending on the point of arrival.
  • No guidance strips on the ground currently.
