Dive in! 🌊 Join us for two days of intense competition on Friday, July 25, and Saturday, July 26, from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Étienne Gagnaire swimming pool in Villeurbanne.
With its indoor 50-meter pool and an outdoor warm-up pool, this venue will host around 400 swimmers over the two days. Whether you’re an experienced swimmer or participating for fun, we look forward to welcoming you to Lyon for a unique sporting event, where friendliness and fun are guaranteed! 🎉

Rankings will be based on age categories and gender. Trans participants can choose which competition they wish to compete in. There will also be specific rankings for non-binary participants and people with disabilities.

The swimming events at EuroGames Lyon 2025 are open to people with disabilities. Specific categories have been created to ensure that everyone can compete in adapted conditions. Whether you have a physical, auditory, or visual impairment, you are welcome to participate in the competitions.
Specific classifications will also be set up for people with disabilities to ensure a fair and inclusive competition. You can register for individual or relay events, and we will provide dedicated support to ensure your participation goes smoothly.

The competition will take place over two days:

Warm-up sessions will be held each morning from 9.00 am before the start of the events 🏊♂️
The programme includes events of different distances and styles, including relays. Each swimmer can take part in a maximum of 5 individual events, and the relay teams will be decided at a later date. Here are some of the main events:
100m butterfly, 400m medley, 100m backstroke, 200m NL
4x200m NL relay, 4x100m 4N relay, 4x50m NL relay 🏆.
The rankings are drawn up by age category and gender. Trans people can choose the category in which they wish to compete. There will be specific rankings for non-binary people and people with disabilities. Timing will be electronic, validated by the French Swimming Federation (FFN) 📋.
The age categories are as follows
Under 20s
C0: 20-24 years old
C1: 25-29 years
C2: 30-34 years, etc., up to C13 for 85-89 years 🔢.
Each swimmer may enter a maximum of 5 individual events. Relays will be organised by the organisers at a later date 📝.
