🥏 Ultimate Frisbee at EuroGames Lyon 2025!
Ultimate Frisbee is making its first appearance at the EuroGames! This inclusive, mixed, non-contact, and self-refereed sport is open to everyone, whether you’re a beginner or an experienced player 💪. Ultimate is all about fair play and team spirit.
📋 Tournament format:
- 6×6 tournament format.
- 10 to 12 people per team, with a minimum of 3 to 4 women.
- You can register as a team or individually.
🏃♂️ How does it work?
In each point, 6 players face 6 opponents.
Players can choose to defend against a player they feel comfortable with (male/female-matching player).
👥 One category: Loose – Mixed.
Ideally, each team should have 1 to 2 female-matching players on the field at all times.
⚡ What do you need?
The ability to run, see, and catch a frisbee 🏃♀️🥏.
🌀 Spirit of the Game:
Since Ultimate is self-refereed, fair play is essential. At the end of each match, teams will score their opponents, evaluating their adherence to the rules and behavior on the field.
📅 Competition schedule:
- Day 1: Pool matches.
- Day 2: Ranking matches, followed by the awards ceremony 🏆.
- Captain meeting: Information session before the start of the matches.
Each team will be evaluated based on both their competitive ranking and their respect for the Spirit of the Game.
