🏐 Beach Volley at EuroGames Lyon 2025
The sports association Only Beach is excited to welcome you to the Beach Volleyball tournament at the EuroGames Lyon 2025! This fun and unique event guarantees plenty of playtime for each team. We offer tournaments for Men’s, Mixed, and Women/FLINTA (Women, Lesbians, Intersex, Non-binary, Trans, and Agender) teams on July 25 and 26, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

The tournament starts with group stages of 5 pairs, using a dynamic format. Winning pairs stay on the court to face new challengers. Groups are reformed based on points, leading to final stages.

Unfortunately, there will be no specific para beach volleyball competition at the EuroGames Lyon 2025. However, deaf and hard of hearing athletes are warmly welcomed and encouraged to participate. We are committed to making the event as inclusive as possible, providing adapted conditions and a friendly environment for all. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or specific needs to help facilitate your participation.
We offer three categories:
Men: 2.43m net
Mixed: 2.35m net
Women/FLINTA (Women, Lesbians, Intersex, Non-binary, Trans and Agender) : 2.24m net 🏐.
The levels of play are divided into four categories: A, B+, B-, and C for men’s, mixed and women’s/FLINTA tournaments. These levels allow everyone to compete in a competition suited to their experience and skills 🎯.
The tournament starts with group stages with 5 pairs in each group. The pairs play each other and the winning pair stays on to play a new pair. The dynamic format continues with groupings based on points obtained, until the final phases 🏆.
Yes, blind pairing is possible. If you don’t have a partner, we’ll do our best to find you one suited to your level and entry category 👥.
If the number of entries is insufficient, teams of different levels may be asked to play against each other to ensure a smooth and competitive tournament ⚖️.
Of course! Spectators are invited to come and cheer on the teams and enjoy the friendly atmosphere under the Lyon sun 🌞🎉.
