🏓 Table Tennis at EuroGames Lyon 2025: Open to All, Just Play!
At the heart of the legendary Palais des Sports de Lyon Gerland, on July 24 and 25, 2025, take part in an inclusive table tennis competition open to everyone, regardless of skill level or gender! Organized by the clubs Open Balle and TT Gerland, this event promises two days of competition, fun, and fair play!
Whether you’re a seasoned player or just here for the joy of the game, the tournament format will naturally group players by level as the rounds progress. 🎉
📅 Competition Schedule
Thursday, July 24: Singles tournament
Friday, July 25: Doubles tournament
Competitions will take place on 32 tables, supervised by an official referee and their team, following FFTT rules.
- Format: Groups of 3 (or pairs for doubles), then full ranking bracket
- Limited to: 64 participants per tournament
- Check-in: At least 30 minutes before your start time
- No-show: Forfeit after 10 minutes if absent at call
Balls will be provided. In group stages, players will referee their own matches. In brackets, the loser of a match referees the next one.
No lunch break: A snack bar with food and drinks will be available all day on-site.

- Individual registration for both singles and doubles
- For doubles: you can enter with a partner (name, surname, email), or register as a **blind entry**. We’ll try to match you with another player. If no match is found, you’ll be moved to the singles tournament. No refund will be given.
- Each participant must bring their own **racket**, **sportswear**, and **non-marking shoes** (light-colored soles). White tops are discouraged for better contrast with the ball.
- By registering, you agree to the tournament rules. The referee’s decisions are final. The health protocol in force at the time of the event will apply throughout the tournament.

Yes, of course! The competitions are open to spectators. Come and cheer on the teams and athletes and enjoy the unique atmosphere of this inclusive sporting event that celebrates diversity. Admission is free for spectators and the atmosphere is guaranteed!
