What is WorldSkills Lyon 2024?

WorldSkills Lyon 2024 is the 47th edition of the global skills competition, a premier international event that brings together young professionals and students from around the world to compete in various technical and professional disciplines. Held in Lyon, France, from September 10 to 15, 2024, this event will host approximately 1,500 competitors from over 65 countries, competing in 62 different skills. The primary goal of WorldSkills Lyon 2024 is to promote excellence in trades and to highlight technical and vocational skills. The competition emphasizes the values of youth, inclusion, diversity, and sustainability, creating an inspiring platform for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET).
