We regret to inform you that the official Weightlifting competition, initially planned as part of the EuroGames Lyon 2025, has been cancelled. Unfortunately, there were not enough registrations to ensure a good level of competition.

In the case of an insufficient number of registrations, we reserve the right to merge certain categories or to propose alternatives. Athletes may choose to accept or refuse these adjustments.

♿ Accessibility – Parasport
Unfortunately, weightlifting at EuroGames Lyon 2025 is not accessible to individuals with disabilities.
All skill levels are welcome. Registered IWF athletes are encouraged to indicate their category and level.
Competitions will be divided into four sessions between 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM. Each session will last approximately 2.5 hours for a group of 15 athletes.
Athletes must provide their date of birth, body weight, and starting weights for the snatch and clean and jerk.
Participants are grouped based on their declared performances. No gender-based categories are applied, in line with the inclusive spirit of the EuroGames.
Bars and plates will be available, but athletes must bring their own personal equipment (shoes, belts, chalk, etc.).
